   Simparica TRIO is a monthly tablet that protects your dog against fleas, ticks, heartworm, roundworms, hookworms, mites, mange and even mosquitoes in one single dose.
2. How do dogs get heartworm, and can Simparica TRIO prevent it?
   Heartworm is transmitted through mosquito bites and presents risk year-round for dogs across Australia. TRIO’s triple attack on heartworm is 100% effective in preventing deadly heartworm disease and works by protecting against new heartworm infections, killing juveniles already in the bloodstream and killing the mosquitoes that spread it.
3. How do dogs get fleas and ticks in Australia, and how do I treat them?
   Fleas spread easily. It could be from other animals, shared environments, and even your own backyard. Ticks (including paralysis ticks) are commonly found in bushland, long grass, and coastal areas from Queensland down to Victoria. Simparica TRIO is a fast-acting flea and tick treatment for dogs that starts killing fleas within 4 hours and ticks within 8 hours, with protection lasting up to 35 days

   Yes, Simparica TRIO is safe for use in heartworm-positive dogs. For dogs switching from another heartworm prevention product, it can be started within one month of the last dose. If you know or suspect your dog has an existing heartworm infection, check with your vet before starting.
5. Is Simparica TRIO safe for all dog breeds, including Collies?
   Yes. Simparica TRIO has a well-established safety profile and is well tolerated in avermectin-sensitive breeds, including Collies. However, like all medications, if your dog has known sensitivities or underlying health conditions, it’s always best to check with your vet.
6. Can Simparica TRIO be given alongside other medications?
   Simparica is generally well tolerated alongside other medications. That said, it’s best to consult your vet first if your dog on any other treatments, supplements, or medications before starting

General directions

1. Choose the right dose. Select the Simparica TRIO pack that matches your dog's body weight — refer to the weight guide if unsure.
2. Give monthly, with or without food. Most dogs take it like a treat. For fussier dogs, pair the chew with a preferred treat or place directly into their mouth.

Suitability & Care

• Suitable for dogs and puppies aged 8 weeks or older, weighing at least 1.25 kg

Indications

For the treatment and control of fleas (Ctenocephalides spp.), paralysis ticks (Ixodes holocyclus), brown dog ticks (Rhipicephalus sanguineus), bush ticks (Haemaphysalis longicornis), roundworm (Toxocara canis,
Toxascaris leonina), hookworm(Ancylostoma caninum, Ancylostoma braziliense, Ancylostoma ceylanicum,
Uncinaria stenocephala) and heartworm(Dirofilaria immitis) in dogs and puppies from 8 weeks of age. Also for the treatment and control of ear mites (Otodectes cynotis), demodex mites (Demodex canis), sarcoptic mange (Sarcoptes scabiei), mosquitoes (Aedes aegypti) and prevents infestation with flea tapeworm (Dipylidium caninum).

Side effects

Simparica TRIO has a strong safety record and is recommended by vets across Australia. Side effects are
uncommon, but as with any medication, it's worth knowing what to watch for. The most commonly reported side effects are vomiting, diarrhoea and lethargy. Less commonly, reduced appetite, increased thirst, and restlessness have been observed. In very rare cases, seizures have been reported.
