Product Description

Let’s face it - your dog loves to frolic. Simparica® equips your mud-loving, bush-bashing, puddle-plunging bestie with vet grade protection against fleas, ticks and mites for up to 35 days.
Between the warm climate and our love for the outdoors, effective, year-round parasite protection is a non-negotiable in Australia. Simparica’s monthly chew is easy-to-give, APVMA-approved and provides fast-acting protection against uninvited passengers your dog might pick up on their adventures.
Suitable for dogs and puppies from 8 weeks of age and, with six weight-based doses available, Simparica provides protection fit for Pomeranians to Wolfhounds alike.

Frequently asked questions

  1. What is Simparica and how does it work?
Simparica is an APVMA-approved monthly chewable tablet that protects dogs against fleas, ticks, ear mites, demodex mites, and sarcoptic mange. Once your dog eats the chew, the active ingredient sarolaner hits their bloodstream in 30 minutes, quickly taking out any hungry fleas or ticks with a shock to their nervous system. Better yet, a single chew protects your pup for up to 35 days, giving you a little leeway between doses.
  2. Can Simparica be given alongside other medications?
Simparica is generally well tolerated alongside other medications. That said, it's always worth talking to your vet first if your dog on any other treatments, supplements, or medications before starting.
  3. What is the best flea and tick treatment for dogs?
The best flea and tick treatment is one that's fast-acting, vet-grade, and easy to give — Simparica delivers on all three. Simparica’s tasty, liver flavoured chew is trusted by veterinarians worldwide and starts killing fleas in 4 hours and ticks in 8 hours.
  4. How do I know if my dog has fleas?
The most common signs include scratching, biting or licking at the skin, hair loss, and small dark specks in your dog's coat often called flea dirt. Some dogs may also develop red, irritated skin or show signs of flea allergy dermatitis. Simparica provides fast-acting relief that starts killing fleas within 4 hours and monthly dosing prevents them coming back by interrupting their life-cycle.

  • Vet-grade - trusted by dog people and vets across Australia.

General directions

  1. Choose the right dose. Select the Simparica pack that matches your dog's body weight - refer to the weight guide if unsure.
  2. Give monthly, with or without food. Most dogs take it like a treat. For fussier dogs, pair the chew with a preferred treat or place directly into their mouth.
  3. Repeat every month, year-round for continuous protection. Start at any time of year — there's no need to wait for tick season.
  4. Missed a dose? Give as soon as you remember and continue their regular monthly schedule. Set up a free reminder with Zoetis HERE!
