Product Description:

Felimazole 2.5mg Tablets are formulated for the management of feline hyperthyroidism, a common thyroid disorder in older cats. Each tablet contains 2.5mg of thiamazole, an antithyroid medication that safely reduces excess thyroid hormone production. The film-coated design improves palatability and handling. Felimazole is widely prescribed as a long-term treatment to normalise thyroid hormone levels and improve clinical symptoms such as weight loss, hyperactivity, vomiting, and increased appetite.

  • Prescription-only veterinary medication

Directions for Use:

Felimazole should only be used under veterinary supervision. A typical dose is 2.5mg twice daily, depending on your cat’s weight and thyroid hormone levels. Tablets must be given whole (not crushed or broken). Your vet will advise on blood monitoring and dose adjustments.

  • Routine blood tests are required to monitor thyroid function and organ health
