How Cardisure Works

Pimobendan acts as an inodilator—providing positive inotropic effects (stronger heart contractions) and vasodilation (widening of blood vessels). This combination improves blood flow, reduces fluid buildup, and supports the heart’s ability to pump efficiently. It is a cornerstone treatment for canine congestive heart failure.

Directions for Use

Give Cardisure exactly as prescribed by your veterinarian. Pimobendan is typically administered twice daily, approximately 12 hours apart, and ideally on an empty stomach. Do not adjust the dose or discontinue the medication without veterinary guidance.

Possible Side Effects

Side effects may include vomiting, diarrhoea, decreased appetite, or mild restlessness. In rare cases, irregular heart rhythms, collapse, or significant lethargy may occur. Any severe or unusual signs should be reported to your veterinarian immediately.
